Bill would go on to Numerica Credit Union, beginning a 27-year career in 1995. She was immediately taken aback by his good looks, mature demeanor, and his pristine Camaro. Here, he would meet the love of his life, Jennifer, who he worked with at Video Unlimited. Bill would begin working part-time at Video Unlimited, a locally owned video rental store, eventually moving into a full-time management position. Bill’s family would eventually relocate to Spokane, where he would go on to graduate with the Rogers High School class of 1982 while working part-time making countertops. Speaking mostly German until he was 5, Bill started his childhood in Munich, Germany before relocating to his grandparents’ home in Clayton. Bill was born on October 13, 1962, to William and Karoline (Heuwieser) Gibbs. ![]() William Clark “Bill” Gibbs, age 59, passed away following a series of health complications on September 2, 2022, in Spokane, Washington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Spokane Humane Society. She is survived by her husband Rick Lucas, sister Charlotte Ashenbrenner (husband Don), and Rick’s family, Steve & Vickie, Dan & Lorraine, Cindy, and numerous nieces and nephews.Ī Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. She had a passion for gardening, crafting, hunting, fishing, and most of all her beloved pets. She was known for her fun, compassionate personality, and beautiful spirit. Juanita married the love of her life, Rick Lucas, on August 6, 1977. She worked for a short while for the Washington State Patrol Office before starting her career at the Community Colleges of Spokane as a Buyer in the Purchasing Dept., where she retired after 30 years. Juanita graduated from Ferris High School in Spokane, WA. She was born in Lewiston, ID, on March 6, 1957, to William and Etta Traufer (deceased). Juanita died peacefully at home with her husband by her side on September 10, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Christ Kitchen in Spokane, WA. She was a wonderful example of service and leadership to her friends and family. She was passionate about volunteer work and served the Presbyterian church and a variety of community organizations in many different capacities. In 1955 she married her beloved husband, William Ailes, and they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. Ginny taught public school music early in her career and remained a life-long musician. ![]() She passed away peacefully at home on August 29, 2022, in Spokane, Washington, and is survived by her children and their spouses Karen Keene and husband Tom, William Ailes Jr., Mary Beth Ailes and husband Pradeep Barua, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
